Will Warren surrendered six runs across four innings in his first poor start of the season, leading the Texas Rangers to a 6-1 victory over the New York Yankees. Nathan Eovaldi dominated, tossing eight innings and allowing just one run while striking out eight.

The Yankees offense managed just three hits as Warren allowed seven hits and three walks. Texas took a lead in the first inning on a Corey Seager home run and extended it with a three-run third.
