John Ryan, the 22-year-old Irish left-back, is one of the nominees. He made five starts for the Royals earlier this season, averaging a 6.3 rating. Ryan impressed against West Ham United's under-21s and MK Dons, though his season was unfortunately cut short by a serious injury in December.
