Published October 3, 2026 · Updated October 3, 2026 · Fox Sports

The No. 12 Texas Tech Red Raiders aim to extend their 4-0 record against the Colorado Buffaloes, who have dropped two straight games.

Despite throwing three consecutive interceptions last week, Texas Tech routed Sam Houston 49-14, with linebacker Austin Romaine returning two picks for touchdowns. The Red Raiders haven't started 4-0 in consecutive seasons since 2012-2013.

Colorado has lost two straight after a 2-0 start, allowing the third-most yards in the Big 12. The Buffaloes also made a quarterback change, benching Julian Lewis for Isaac Wilson, who threw for 156 yards against Baylor. likesport.biz
