Skotheim back on track after foot surgery

Sander Skotheim (23) is expected to return to competition by the end of May after a foot surgery in January, having already begun training again.

Sander Skotheim, the 23‑year‑old TIK jumper, underwent a foot ligament repair in January after a training‑camp injury. He has performed his first throw post‑surgery and is targeting a return to competition by late May.

Skotheim is eyeing the European Championships in Birmingham in August, where he hopes to capture his first senior medal. The injury forced him to pull out of the Paris 2024 Olympics and the Tokyo 2025 World Championships.
