France captain Kylian Mbappé has congratulated Zinédine Zidane on his appointment as the new national team head coach.

Mbappé posted a message on Instagram welcoming Zidane to the role.

Zidane, 54, replaces Didier Deschamps after a 14-year tenure that ended with a fourth-place finish at the World Cup, where Mbappé was the top scorer with 10 goals. betsport.cv
