Lanning Sees Indiana in Bruins

With UCLA visiting Oregon on Saturday, Ducks coach Dan Lanning sees familiar traits in the Bruins. "We're about to play a UCLA team that reminds me a lot of Indiana from last year," Lanning said, noting both programs were rebuilt by coaches who brought staff and players from James Madison. capturengo.org

UCLA's Bob Chesney, like Indiana's Curt Cignetti, transferred coordinators and players from JMU, creating a cohesive unit that's surprised with a 4-0 start. "Extremely well-coached team," Lanning added, acknowledging the Bruins' potential after Indiana defeated Oregon in the CFP semifinals last year.
