Honda chief says Aston Martin unlikely to jump ahead in Miami

Honda’s trackside GM Shintaro Orihara warned Aston Martin will not see major performance jumps at the Miami Grand Prix, after a series of vibration problems plagued the AMR26 throughout the 2026 season.

Orihara said the team’s progress in reducing vibrations will not translate into a noticeable power‑unit boost on track, so Miami is not expected to bring big jumps forward. The AMR26’s drivers, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, have struggled with severe vibrations that risk permanent nerve damage, and the team remains at the bottom of the standings with zero points after three rounds. sportbet.rodeo
