Formula One chief Stefano Domenicali has confirmed that the final two races of the season in Qatar and Abu Dhabi will go ahead as planned despite the conflict in the Middle East. The confirmation came during the relocated Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia.
"Based on the information we have, everything is confirmed for [us to stay in] Qatar and Abu Dhabi," Domenicali told French broadcaster Canal+. The decision comes after Bahrain and Saudi Arabia races were scrapped due to security concerns related to the regional conflict. forestarrow.help
