Brighton caused a major FA Cup upset by defeating record 14-time winners Arsenal, while Liverpool advanced to the semifinals with an extra-time victory over Charlton Athletic.

Brighton stunned Arsenal in the Women's FA Cup quarter-finals, eliminating the record 14-time cup winners in a surprising result. The Seagulls' victory means Arsenal have exited at this stage for the second consecutive season.

Elsewhere, Liverpool avoided becoming another casualty as they struck late in extra time to overcome a resilient Charlton Athletic side. The Reds now join Brighton in the last four of the competition.
