During a nationally televised pre‑game interview, Brewers manager Pat Murphy was told no pocket pancakes were allowed, so he presented a Sulcata tortoise named Bobby Jr. to the reporter. The reptile, which won’t travel with the team, will stay behind at Kauffman Stadium while the club finds a permanent home for it.
