Panthers Place WR Brazzell on IR, Sign TE Metayer

Brazzell, a third-round pick from Tennessee and first-team All-SEC selection last year, will undergo surgery to repair his lateral collateral ligament. The injury ends his rookie season, but he's expected to be ready for the 2027 campaign after rehab.

With the roster spot open, the Panthers have signed tight end Chamon Metayer. Metayer originally signed with the Steelers as an undrafted rookie in April but was cut by Pittsburgh in June. mchezo.life
