Jets Lead 7-3 After Sadiq's First TD Catch

Kenyon Sadiq, the Jets' first-round pick, made a diving 24-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Geno Smith in the second quarter. The rookie tight end previously scored on a run in Week 1, but this was his first receiving touchdown of his NFL career.

Smith has been efficient, completing 12-of-14 passes for 110 yards, while the Jets defense has recorded two sacks and three third-down stops to limit the Lions offense. Sadiq now has two catches for 29 yards, with Jeremy Ruckert adding three receptions as the Jets utilize their tight end group with Adonai Mitchell inactive. xsportfeed.quest
