The Atlanta Falcons have signed tight end Nick Muse to their 53-man roster and placed defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand on injured reserve after he suffered a season-ending quad injury in Week 1.

The Falcons made corresponding moves by signing defensive end Drake Jackson and running back Khalil Herbert to the practice squad. Muse, who signed with Atlanta in August, was elevated from the practice squad for the Week 1 loss to the Steelers and made one tackle on special teams. He played in 16 games for the Vikings between 2022 and 2024. macnevers-and-co.beer
