The Eagles officially signed wide receiver Britain Covey to the 53-man roster on Tuesday, a corresponding move after placing guard Landon Dickerson on injured reserve.

Covey played in Week 1 as a temporary elevation, returning four punts for 37 yards in the Eagles' 24-22 win over the Commanders. The Eagles also signed tight end Josiah Deguara to the practice squad.

Covey has appeared in 44 other games for the Eagles over the past four seasons with a career average of 11.2 yards per punt return. The team now has one open spot on the 53-man roster after placing tight end Eli Stowers on injured reserve last weekend. capturengo.com
