- The match stipulation for a world championship clash could change Monday night.
- A surprise reveal from Friday's SmackDown could carry over to Raw.
- Several big names are running out of time to land a WrestleMania spot.
We're 12 days away from WrestleMania 42 and WWE is in Houston at the Toyota Center for another potentially important episode of Monday Night Raw. There's a lot on the table for this one including potentially seeing new layers added to some of what we saw on SmackDown on Friday night with Pat McAfee and Randy Orton.
There'll obviously be more CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns and perhaps a few more layers to Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar.
What Time Does Raw Start?
Raw airs live at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on Netflix. Doors open at 6:30 PM local time. This is the second-to-last Raw before WrestleMania 42 on April 18-19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Any remaining card additions or stipulation changes need to happen in the next two weeks. Time is running out.
What Should We Expect From Punk and Reigns?
A stipulation change feels incoming. Punk powerbombed Reigns through the announce table at MSG last week after hitting a GTS. The week before, Reigns attacked Punk with help from the Usos. They've been trading escalating shots for weeks.
A standard singles match doesn't feel like enough for this feud anymore. Street fight, Bloodline Rules or some kind of No DQ stipulation would match the intensity of the build. Monday could be the night it's made official.
What's Next for McAfee and Orton?
Cody Rhodes was on Raw last week and there is reason to believe he'll be back this week. Will McAfee be there too? That's the biggest question. McAfee was revealed as Orton's mystery phone contact on SmackDown and immediately hit Cody with a low blow.
His WrestleMania role still needs to be defined. Is he a manager? A corner man? A participant in the match itself? Monday should bring more clarity to a story that caught a lot of people off guard.
Who Else Needs a WrestleMania Spotlight?
LA Knight needs a spot on some level. The same can be said for Giulia and Tiffany Stratton. Anything that happens with Bianca Belair and the Street Profits will be a surprise at WrestleMania 42.
Five major names without WrestleMania spots with 12 days to go is unusual. The Femi-Lesnar match is confirmed but the build has been thin. Monday needs to start filling those gaps before the go-home shows next week.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge looking to see Bayern Munich take the edge back from Real Madrid
Bayern Munich legend Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has seen many Bayern Munich battles against Real Madrid and to him, this most recent edition will help build the lore around this matchup.
“It’s the most-played matchup in Champions League history – I looked it up. There have been 28 meetings so far. Madrid have two more wins than us. It’s the same in the UEFA club rankings: they’re first, we’re just behind. It’s the pinnacle, the game of all games, a final before the final. It’s the tie that has generated the most buzz over time. In the 2000s we made life hardest for Madrid; lately they’ve taken the edge,” Rummenigge told AS (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “We need to reach the level we showed against PSG in the league phase. In the first half we were outstanding; in the second, after Luis Díaz’s red card, we grew huge defensively. That’s exactly what we’ll need in Madrid. If we can match that level, we’ll have a chance to lay a solid foundation for the return leg. Humility is key – we’re facing a massive challenge.”
The rivalry is one of the best, most intense, and brutal of the Champions League. So, yeah, it makes perfect viewing for fans of each club and neutrals alike.

Lavonte David: Injuries Took Toll on Baker Mayfield
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield started all 17 games last season, but he wasn't healthy, and one of Mayfield's former teammates went into detail about everything the star QB was dealing with.
"Baker was going through a lot," the recently retired Lavonte David said Friday on "The Arena" podcast. "Baker had a lot of injuries that you didn’t expect a quarterback to play through."
The former Bucs linebacker and 12-year captain on defense ticked off Mayfield's infirmities during last season -- an oblique injury, a shoulder injury, an ankle and knee injuries.
"He was really trying to push through, and really trying to be the player that we needed him to be."
Most of what David said was known, but the ankle injury had not previously been reported. Injury reports released throughout the season indicate Mayfield also had a lingering biceps injury, foot and toe issues early in September, and an undisclosed illness in mid-November that reportedly made its way through the locker room.
Ahead of the team's season finale against the Carolina Panthers at home, Mayfield appeared on the team's injury report with a right shoulder/knee injury, but he powered through to lead the team to a win.
Those weren't the only problems Mayfield had in 2025. In training camp, Mayfield dealt with a hand injury.
Mayfield's injury history in the NFL predates his time in Tampa. In Mayfield's last season with the Cleveland Browns in 2021, he tore the labrum in his left shoulder in Week 2, kept playing, and then fractured his upper arm bone in Week 6. Despite these injuries -- along with those to his knee and groin -- Mayfield only missed three of Cleveland's 17 games.
Cleveland traded Mayfield to the Panthers the next summer, following the team's trade for Deshaun Watson.
In 2025, Mayfield wasn't the same quarterback in the second half of the season as he was in the first half.
Through the first nine games, the 2017 Heisman winner and first overall draft pick in 2018 threw 16 touchdown passes and just two interceptions.
In the last eight, he threw 10 TDs and nine picks. As Mayfield regressed, so did the team. The Bucs were 6-3 and ended up finishing 8-9, losing the NFC South for the first time since 2019. 2025 also ended up being the last of David's 14 NFL seasons, all spent in Tampa.
One of the greatest Bucs ever -- three All-Pro team selections, 1,172 tackles and a Super Bowl ring -- announced late last month he was retiring.
But it's already apparent David isn't fading into the background. In the nearly two-hour podcast episode, David discussed a variety of topics, including Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts; Jameis Winston's infamous "30-30" season (30 touchdowns, 30 interceptions), which ultimately led to Tom Brady becoming a Buccaneer; and the events that preceded Antonio Brown's meltdown toward the end of the 2021 season.
